Dr Michelle Tan

MBBS (NUS 1997) · Certified COC in Aesthetic Lasers, Peels & Injectables

Dr Michelle Tan obtained her medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1997. Transitioning into full-time aesthetic and wellness medicine in 2010, she has built an enduring practice centered on honest, patient-centered consultations.

She holds accredited Certificates of Competency (COC) recognized by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) aesthetic practice oversight committee in cosmetic lasers, chemical peels, and injectables. Dr Tan has particular clinical interests in complex acne management, scar remodeling, and subtle non-surgical anti-aging.

Dr David Ng Weng Keen

MBChB (University of Leicester, UK 2008)

Dr David Ng graduated from the University of Leicester Medical School in 2008. His foundational clinical training spans intensive rotations in neurosurgery, general surgery, and plastic and reconstructive surgery across the United Kingdom and Singapore.

Drawing upon his deep surgical anatomy background, Dr Ng established Define Aesthetic Medical Clinic to bridge medical science and aesthetic proportion—delivering surgical-grade facial and body contouring outcomes without the inherent risks, scarring, or prolonged recovery of invasive surgery.

The Origin Story

It started with cabin crew

The genesis of Define Aesthetic Medical Clinic traces back to an airport clinic where Dr David Ng regularly consulted international airline flight crews. Cabin crew members frequently sought medical advice for acute skin dehydration, barrier breakdown, and accelerated photo-aging caused by constant atmospheric pressure shifts, low humidity, and irregular circadian rhythms.

Recognizing that busy professionals needed treatments that produced visible, lasting structural improvements without requiring days or weeks away from work, Dr Ng founded Define Aesthetic Clinic on Orchard Road. The focus was clear: medical treatments engineered for natural balance, minimal downtime, and reproducible clinical safety.
